Ephesians 2: 8 -9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Romans 8: 24 -25 For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.

It Speaks of Eternity “When we’ve been there ten thousand years, bright shining as the sun; we’ve no less days to sing God’s praise than when we first begun. ” 2 Corinthians 5: 1 Romans 6: 22 -23 God assures us that eternal life is the reward of the faithful (cf. Matthew 25: 46)

2 Corinthians 5: 1 For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

Romans 6: 22 -23 But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Amazing Grace The song expresses wonderful sentiments, and we should sing it often. However, the Grace the song describes is even greater! We should praise God for the wonderful gift of eternal life that He has given us through His Son.
