A’maal for Lailatul Raghaib & first Thursday of Rajab. Importance of this A’maal It is related that the person who recites Namaaz -e Lailatul Raghaib will be saved from the terror of the grave. The first Friday night of Rajab is known as Lailatul Raghaib. Prophet Muhammad (s) used to fast on the first Thursday & perform this A’maal. Of the benefits from the prayers are that many sins of the reciter are forgiven & on his first eve in the grave, Allah sends to him rewards for the prayers in the most virtuous, smiling countenance with sweet voice which will address him with following,

Importance of this A’maal “A Friend I have brought you the good tiding that you have been liberated from all the difficulties. ” He will ask, "Who are you? , never before have I seen so beautiful a countenance nor heard such sweet voice or smelt such excellent fragrance, he will be replied" and the reward of the prayers you have recited on a such a night of such a month in such a year. “I have attended on you to fulfill your dues, keep you company in your loneliness & relieve you of your fear. When the trumpet will be blown I'll provide you a shade on the day of judgement. Be at ease, you will not lose happiness. ”

In the evening between Maghrib and Isha, perform 12 units (rakáh) of prayer, in two’s (i. e. two rakáh at a time).
