ROMANS 10: 1 -4 Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God JWs for Israel is that they may be saved. For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

QUESTIONS TO ASK THE JW… • Who translated your Bible? • Why does your Bible add the name ‘Jehovah’ in the New Testament when it is not found in the Greek? • Why does the New World Translation insert the word “other” four times into Colossians chapter 1 when it isn’t in the Greek manuscripts at all? Doesn’t this change the meaning of the text?

Why do we have a difficult time sharing the Gospel with Jehovah’s Witnesses?

The Great Crowd

New World Translation Verse 1 & 2 After this I heard what seemed to be a loud voice of a great crowd in heaven. They said: “Praise Jah! The salvation and the glory and the power belong to our God, because his judgments are true and righteous.

Why won’t they listen? John 20: 28 Revelation 19: 1 False Prophecies Jehovah’s Witnesses are captive of a concept

THE GOVERNING BODY

“The faithful and discreet slave” was appointed over Jesus’ domestics in 1919. That slave is the small, composite group of anointed brothers serving at world headquarters during Christ’s presence who are directly involved in preparing and dispensing spiritual food. When this group work together as the Governing Body, they act as “the faithful and discreet slave. ” JW. ORG. NOV. 2012

The JWs are captives of a concept The Watchtower Organisation is God’s ONLY channel of communication to the world.

Jehovah’s Witnesses The Real Issue Their concept of ‘the organisation’ is the dominant, controlling force in their lives without them realising it.

Worshipping The Organization

Everything is explained and understood from the standpoint that the Society is God’s Organization. It is the Governing Body, the faithful and discreet slave, who have the truth. So all that comes from Christendom is thereby false.

The Most Important Verses for a JW Matthew 24: 45 -47 "Who really is the faithful and discreet slave whom his master appointed over his domestics, to give them their food at the proper time? Happy is that slave if his master on arriving finds him doing so. Truly I say to YOU, He will appoint him over all his belongings. "

1919

"The historical facts show that 1919 was the year when the remnant on earth of the 144, 000 Kingdom heirs began to be freed from Great Babylon. In that year the message of God's established kingdom began to be preached from house to house and publicly by Jehovah's Christian witnesses in a fearless way. This preaching of the Kingdom as established in 1914 was in fulfillment of Jesus' prophecy in Matthew 24: 14: 'This good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations. Watchtower Quotes • Watchtower 1973 August 1 p. 460 Cultivating Friendship with God Yes, we should be deeply appreciative of all the fine spiritual food that "the faithful and discreet slave" class has been providing through The Watchtower, now for ninety-four years. [i. e. since 1879]

We need to obey the faithful and discreet slave to have Jehovah’s approval. " Watchtower 2011 Jul 15 p. 24 "Since Jehovah God and Jesus Christ completely trust the faithful and discreet slave, should we not do the same? " Watchtower 2009 Feb 15 p. 27 "[A mature christian] does not advocate or insist on personal opinions or harbour private ideas when it comes to Bible understanding. Rather, he has complete confidence in the truth as it is revealed by Jehovah God through his Son, Jesus Christ, and "the faithful and discreet slave. " Watchtower 2001 Aug 1 p. 14 "To act consistently with our baptism for life and into the Greater Noah we must submit to and cooperate with that slave and its legal instrument, the Watch Tower Society. " Watchtower 1959 Oct 1 p. 583

R E H T FA SON MOTHER

The BIG MISTAKE All Witnesses have failed to carefully examine the Society’s claim to being God’s ‘faithful and discreet slave organisation’ based upon what Russell and Rutherford had been teaching from 1876 to 1919 in fulfilment of Matthew 24: 45 -47

What was the WT teaching in 1919? 1874

‘God’s Organisation’ exists only in the minds of Jehovah’s Witnesses

The Key to their Freedom They need to come to the realisation that the Watchtower Society is not God’s Organisation

Helping Jehovah’s Witnesses • Getting them to understand the WT interpretation of Matthew 24: 45 -47, and holding them to it. • Reminding them that Jesus chose the WT in 1919 because they were the only ones teaching truth. • Have them research what the WT taught between 1876 -1919. • Evidence will only help those who are open.
