To encourage leadership and shape our members into well rounded individuals and competitive applicants for professional school.

National Member Requirements 20 Humanitarian Hours per semester ● 5 Speaker Presentations or Meetings per semester ● Fundraising Training prior to event ● 1 Fundraising Event per year ○ A-M Fall Semester ○ N-Z Spring Semester ● 1 Community Fundraising Event per year (not based on last name) ●
Fundraising ● Must complete either concessions or alcohol training prior to fundraising event ● Training is ~once per month (see AED calendar) ● Fundraising credit is once per year based on last name ○ A-M Fall Semester ○ N-Z Spring Semester ● If you are unable to accomodate into your schedule: ○ Fundraising rollover*: can complete the following semester ○ Fundraising buyout*: can pay a fee to receive credit for fundraising for that year * Must complete the rollover/buyout application on the AED website (Resources>Forms) and be accepted
Honorary Membership Requirements 5 Humanitarian Hours per semester 3 Meetings/Speaker Presentations per semester Fundraising Training prior to event 1 Fundraising Event per year ○ A-M FAll Semester ○ N-Z Spring Semester ● 1 Community fundraising event per year ● Restriction: ● ● ○ Not able to join committee/eboard until becoming a National Member

Penalties ● Cancelling events earlier than 72 hrs: -3 hrs ● Being more than 15 min late: ½ hrs for the event ● No-Show to an event: ○ 1 st time: -3 hrs ○ 2 nd time: Meet with SAA for -3 hrs or become inactive ○ 3 rd time: Revoke membership ● Not meeting requirements: ○ 1 st time: Probation, missing reqs roll over ○ 2 nd time: Revoke membership
