Allied Health Professionals Day The 2020 International Allied Health Professionals Day will be celebrated on the 14 October. It is a time for Allied Health Professionals to come together and celebrate. Allied Health Professional’s Day is a social movement enabling - Celebrating. Appreciating. Inspiring. Connecting. This package has been provided to encourage allied health across ACT to participate in their own celebration. Included is a style guide, social movement hashtags, logos, email signature block, Certificate template and a poster to promote any celebrations. The ACT Health Directorate will promote the Day via social media channels on the day with a focus on the ACT public sector Allied Health Excellence Awards.

A hashtag is simply a keyword phrase, spelled out without spaces, with a pound symbol (#) in front of it. People use hashtags in their social moment post to categorise themes or keywords. It is a way of making social media posts easier to find and search for information with a theme or specific content. Why hashtag? Social movements can use hashtags to reach their target audience and to help the wider public filter information. Hashtagging for social moments can act as a show of support for a cause through a like, share, etc. on any social media platform. The use of social media for a movement allows one to connect with people from all over the world in a short amount of time. How to use a hashtag? Using a hashtag on a social media post is simple to do. Just add the # symbol before a single word or phrase, without spaces or punctuation. You can put these hashtags anywhere in your social media posts: in the beginning, at the end, or anywhere in between. By clicking or tapping on a hashtagged word in someone else’s post will ‘search’ to find other posts within that social media platform with the same hashtag.
