Allan was wearing flares the first time they were in fashion…. Allan’s first band, Cornerstone Rock, Tamworth, NSW, 1981 & he still has this guitar *

After moving to Sydney in Dec 1981, Allan grew a beard and joined a band called ‘Sebastian Brik’ (no it’s not supposed to be Brick!) *

In 1984, Allan married, then moved to Brisbane in 1985. He joined a band called “Listen Ere” in 1986, then later that year, “Kool Change”… *

In 1987 Allan joined “Rusty and the Ayers Rockettes” (allegedly the ‘best party band in the land!’) and toured Australia - working 6 nights a week for months on end…. *

Allan is renowned for his stage presence! His high kicks and splits were always part of the act….

Modern technology enabled him to play his guitar anywhere - even in the carpark! Yes, he is doing the splits again!

No, he wasn’t auditioning for the Salvation Army… he’s just multi-skilled. . .

Allan has played to thousands, and got to wear lots of interesting outfits!

During Expo ‘ 88, Allan went to Hong Kong & was appointed an “Honorary Ambassador” for Queensland

In 1989, Allan joined other band members from Rusty & the Ayers Rockettes to form “ 3 Magic Words”

Those band members then joined Keith Urban’s Band in 1990

With Keith, he performed on the ‘Ray Martin Show’, ‘Vizard’ & ‘Hey, Hey It’s Saturday’

Up until 1992, Allan had only ever played in bands, so now he was going out on his own…. he is pictured here with his Grandfather’s old guitar

As a soloist, Allan was a grand finalist in the 1993 & 1995 Tamworth Country Music Starmaker Awards

Aghhhh! At the launch of his 2 nd album “Man Made New”

In 1996, Allan won “Best Album - Middle of the Road” for his album ‘Man Made New’ in the Qld Recording Association Sunnie Awards
