All Scripture is inspired by God and is
All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3: 16 -17
No prophecy of Scripture…ever came by the will of man; instead, men spoke from God as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. 2 Peter 1: 21

Any plan from OR You. Version John 1 -21 (one chapter/day)
Fact #1: You can’t prove the Bible is God’s Word.
Anyone who comes to God must believe that He exists. Hebrews 11: 6 God’s invisible attributes, that is, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen since the creation of the world, being understood through what He has made. As a result, people are without excuse. Romans 1: 20
Fact #1: You can’t prove the Bible is God’s Word. Fact #2: There are no original copies of any “ancient” book. We only have copies of copies…. Fact #3: The 66 books of the Bible are the most reliable copies of any ancient book in the world.
How do we know that the 66 books of the Bible are the right books?
The Old Testament “Canon”
The Old Testament “Canon” 1) The 39 books were always considered “sacred” by the Jews. 2) The compilation of the 39 books of the Old Testament was a gradual process. By 400 BC the Jews had classified the 39 books under “The Law, the Prophets, and the Psalms. ” 3) Jesus affirmed the 39 books in Luke 24: 44.
The Apocrypha • 14 books written between 450 B. C. and 50 A. D. • The Roman Catholic Church formally declared seven Apocryphal books to be the inspired Word of God at the Council of Trent in 1546.
The New Testament “Canon” Many have undertaken to compile a narrative about the events that have been fulfilled among us, 2 just as the original eyewitnesses and servants of the word handed them down to us. Luke 1: 1 -4 1
The New Testament “Canon” It also seemed good to me, since I have carefully investigated everything from the very first, to write to you in an orderly sequence, most honorable Theophilus, 4 so that you may know the certainty of the things about which you have been instructed. Luke 1: 1 -4 3

1 Timothy 5: 18 For the Scripture says, “Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain” (Deut. 5: 24) and, “the worker is worthy of his wages” (Luke 10: 7). 2 Peter 3: 16 Paul speaks about these things in all his letters in which there are some matters that are hard to understand. The untaught and unstable twist them to their own destruction, as they also do with the rest of the Scriptures.
The New Testament “Canon” The 27 New Testament books were collected (grouped) shortly after 100 A. D. and formally affirmed at the Council of Carthage in 397 AD.
The New Testament “Canon” • Was the author an Apostle (or have a close connection to an Apostle)? • Was the book accepted as God’s Word by the “church? ” • Is there consistency of doctrine and teaching with the other NT books? • Does the book reflect the work of the Holy Spirit?
