All Hallows Catholic College Mini-Review Activities
Question-catch Throw a ball or other object around classroom - whoever catches it must answer a question. Development - they can then ask another question and throw on to another student to answer. TEEP Mini-Review
True or false? TEEP Mini-Review Provide a series of statements related to the learning. Students must decide whether they are true or false stand up / sit down to indicate answer. Development: they can write their own statements for each other.
The cube Students design a cube with questions on each side relating to the topic of the lesson. They must answer question / discuss as much as they can about given topic TEEP Mini-Review
10 questions TEEP Mini-Review Stick a post it note with a key word to student's forehead. They have to ask 10 questions with yes or no answer to see if they can work out what it is
Get creative TEEP Mini-Review Summarise what you have learned today as an image, diagram or poem
Alphabet Think of key words linked to topic. Either write down or go around the room and say TEEP Mini-Review
Continuum / move to the answer TEEP Mini-Review Students stand on a continuum line to represent how strongly they agree or disagree with something. Alternatively you can signal different areas of the room for different answers - students must move to the answer they agree with.

Student as teacher TEEP Mini-Review Pupil becomes the teacher and recaps what they need to know
Noughts and crosses Compete in teams. Students must answer a question correctly in order to play their turn. TEEP Mini-Review
Pictionary TEEP Mini-Review Student draws an image related to the topic. First person to correctly guess what it is draws the next image.
Mastermind TEEP Mini-Review 1 student goes on the hot seat and answers quick fire questions on the topic. Extension: other students can prepare questions to ask

Focus on adding detailed ideas. Summarise learning but expand sentences to include accurate and specific information. TEEP Mini-Review EG: World War Two began in 1939.
