All authority has been given to Me in

“All authority has been given to Me in heaven & on earth. Go therefore & make disciples of all the nations, Baptising them in the name of the Father & of the Son & of the Holy Spirit. Teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; & Lo. . ” Matt 28: 18 – 20 (NKJ)

So it was, as the multitude pressed about Him to hear the Word of God, that He stood by the Lake of Gennaseret, & saw two boats standing by the lake; But the fishermen had gone from them & were washing their nets. Then He got into one of the boats which was Simon’s, & asked him to put out a little from the land. & He sat down & taught the multitudes from the boat. Luke 5: 1 – 3 (NKJ)

When He has stopped speaking, He said to Simon: “Launch out into the deep & let down your nets for a catch”. But Simon answered & said to Him, “Master, we have toiled all night & caught nothing; Nevertheless, at Your word I will let down the net”. Luke 5: 4 – 5 (NKJ)

And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, & their net was breaking. So they signalled to their partners in the other boat to come & help them. & they came & filled both the boats, So that they began to sink. Luke 5: 6 - 7 (NKJ)

When Simon Peter saw it, He fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord” For he & all who were with him were astonished at the catch of fish which they had taken; & so also were James & John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. Luke 5: 8 -10 (NKJ)

And Jesus said to Simon “Do not be afraid. From now on you will catch men” So when they had brought their boats to land, They forsook all and followed Him. Luke 5: 10 – 11 (NKJ)

“. . repentance & forgiveness of sins should be preached in His Name “. . but tarry in Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high” “& you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, in all Judaea & Samaria, & to the end of the earth. ”
