Introduction Ali was the cousin of Rasulullah(S). He came to live with him because his father (Abu TAlib) couldn’t support a large family. Rasulullah(S) and his wife, Khadijah(R)asked to take care for Ali(R) was a child when he saw Rasulullah and Khadijah, praying together. He asked them what they were doing. Rasulullah(S)then invited them to join them. Al(R)wanted to ask his father about joining them in the prayer, but rasulullah(S)had not yet made his mission public. Introduction Allah created me he did not consult my father, so why should I consult my father in order to serve Allah? ” On that day Ali(R)became the 3 rd person to join Islam. Growing up in the household of Rasulullah(S)- copying his speech, his actions, his attitudes- greatly influenced Ali’s life. To the inheritance of a noble and religious family he added vigor, intelligence, strength, and insight. Soon, Rasulullah(S)was commanded to invited his nearest relatives to Islam. He invited about 40 of his family members to a feast.
Growing up in the home of Ali(R)Prophet grew up by many of his relatives, although his father the supported his decision to follow Muhammad. Few people could read or write, Ali learned both. He later became one of the grammarians of the arabic language. By the time of the Hijrah to Madinah, he was already fulfilling all of the duties at the age of 13. When Rasulullah(S)was warned by Jibril that people were trying to kill him and asked him to make hijrah to Madinah, he gave Ali(R) a huge responsibility. He said “ here is my cloak. Lie on my bed
Growing up in the home of the Prophet Then, come here in Madinah” Ali did exactly what he was told, and indeed, the men surrounded the house but did not come in, instead they peeked through the window. When they knew he would come out of his house, and planned to kill them then. The real Mohammed(S) walked out the door, right past them. Allah(S) sealed their eyes, and they did not see him at all. Meanwhile, it was Ali who slept on the bed. In the morning when he opened the door, the killers were frustrated that their plan has been foiled.
The Powerful Warrior In the battles that led to the establishment of Islam in Arabia, Ali(R) was a great and powerful warrior. In those days, before a general battle began, the bravest fighters would ride out between the armies and challenge the other side. Whenever Ali fought, his side always won. In battle, Ali was known for wearing a white plume in his helmet. During the battle of the trench, Ali’s bravery was put up to the test. The muslims were behind the trench protecting Madinah. The trench was too wide for a horse to jump. Everyone was
The Powerful Warrior decided to cross the trench. He came to the narrowest place at the ditch and jumped. This time he succeeded, as did 3 others who followed him. Quickly Ali and the others closed the gap behind them , so no one could come, and these 4 horsemen were trapped. One of them named Amr, challenged someone to come forth and fight. Ali agreed, and the 2 were soon hidden in a cloud of dust. No one knew who was winning until they heard “ Allahu Akbar” and everyone knew it was Ali(R).
The Treaty Of Hudaibiyah Rasulullah(S) said to Ali“ write bismika Allahumma, ” so he did. Rasulullah, then told Ali to write Muhammad, the son of Abd Allah. ” And so it continued. The muslims felt they were being shortchanged and insulted, but Rasulullah(S)knew what the Makkans were getting- in language and concessions- was very small in comparison to what the muslims are winning. In the following months, his wisdom proved correct Ali signed the treaty along with Abu Bakr, Umar, and others.
At Khaibar When Rasulullah(S)and the Muslims attacked the Jewish settlement of Khaibar the trouble began when they encountered a very strong one- it’s men came out to fight and pushed all the muslims back “ Tomorrow, ” announced Rasulullah, “ I will appoint a man whom Allah and His messenger love. Allah will give us the victory by his hands; he is not one who turns back in flight. ” Everyone wanted the flag, of course, but the next day, Rasulullah(S) appointed Ali. He came forward, suffering from his terrible eye trouble but Rasulullah rubbed his saliva in his eyes and prayed for him, and immediately his eyes were cured. The
Among The Prophets Nearests And Dearest When the time drew near for the Hajj, in what came to be known as the Farewell Pilgrimage, Ali was away with the troops in Yemen. 300 horsemen were hurrying back towards Makkah from the south. Ali, who wanted to make the pilgrimage with Rasulullah(S), left someone in charge of the army and went to Makkah as quickly as he could. He completed the pilgrimage and then rode out to meet the approaching army.
