Since last Meeting (1) • Survey of staff using De montfort survey form – 249 responses = c. 10% of staff • Incentives given to staff – 5 home energy monitors • Presentation given at a National seminar organised by Sustainable energy Ireland (4 th September 2009) • 2 nd National Users club meeting organised for 26 th November 2009 Cork County Council

Since last Meeting (2) • 73 public buildings audited using national DEC software (all <1000 m 2) (see slide 5) • Results of these audits used for an application to national funding programme, 11 buildings have had insulation upgrades and heating upgrades as a result of this application (see table on next slide) Cork County Council

CYBER Campaign • Based around reducing energy use in nonoccupancy hours • >50% energy used in public buildings while non-occupied • Joint campaign by Energia and CCC • Launched October ‘ 09 • Based on a League table system • Updated 6 monthly. Cork County Council
