HISTORIKU. Albanian Kolping Association was founded in 1998, with the decision of the District Court Nr. 4139 in Tirana and NIPT code J 62403011 P. First families were established in Shkodra and Kallmet Main activities are concentrated in Shkodra region as well as in the surrounded areas
Albanian Kolping has organised different activities, pilgrimages and various projects which are of great importance to the Association as well as to the beneficiaries who have been a considerable number. Below we are presenting some of the projects and activities implemented in the recent years.

Project implemented so far -"Kolping Goes Green" supported by "E. L. Ba -Emergenza Lavoro nei Balcani". This project was approved and financed by the Bishop’s Conference in Italy. -TRAIN – Training and info session for farmers and young people in the rural areas of North Albania, funded Kolpingwerk Südtyrol. -"Trainings and Summer camp in Gjegjan and Kallmet Kolping financed by Kindermissionwerk. - «Support to poor families for the training of children in need" financed by Kolping Hovelhof. -Training of young people in need financed by Albanian Kolping -Women’s Project, Family in Progress (Fi. P) financed by Fulda Diocese
Project “ Support to poor families” donator Kolping Hovelhof. For the fourth consecutive year, we have continued to support 63 families in need with monthly food packages. Selected families are extremely poor conditions and they receive a monthly food package. All these families also received support letter for the help from the vicars / nuns of the area which describes their economic and life situation.
Training of young people in need The contribution of the Albanian Kolping continues to the families in need by supporting young people in their formation, through the reduction of the course fee. The selection of the beneficiaries is done in a very transparent way and based on a letterrecommendation received prior from the vicar of the area where the students live.
Implementation of the Kindermissionwerk project. Project "Trainings and Summer Camp in Kolping Families (Gjegjan and Kallmet)". Part of this project was the Kolping family of Gjegjan and Kallmet. A total of 200 children aged 10 -15 years old from these families benefited from this project. These students were offered training courses in foreign languages, sports activities and volunteer work in the community. This project is funded by Kindermissionwerk.
Family in Progress (Fi. P) This project consists in the following activities: - Training on health and psychological care; - Childcare training; - Workshop on "How does the system of referral of violence cases" work?
Foreign Language courses • These courses are offered at Shkodra Kolping Center (English, German, Italian. Certified by the Ministry of Labor) • The academic staff of Shkodra Kolping Center teaches also in other center such as in Gjegjan, Kallmet and Dajç. • Objectives (challenges) for the future in this sector - International Certification - Introduction of new teaching methodologies.
