State Report 2009 -2010 Improvement Areas • Both teachers and administrators report that they are not receiving the necessary digital literacy skills to prepare students (or lead the charge) for 21 st Century work. • Parents want teachers to use technology tools to improve home-to-school communications, student achievement, and organizational skills. • Schools are not keeping pace with current technologies that will be required for success in the 21 st Century.
