Grant Withholding Levels • Implemented in July 2005 • Encourages more timely project closeout reports • When project closeout report is submitted & approved for payment, final grant funds can be released: • $10 K – Projects less than $500 K • $50 K – Projects $500 K or greater Update on Federal Aviation Administration 1 1

Grant Amendments for Cost Overruns • Unforeseen Overruns • Limited to 15% of grant amount • FAA looks at: • Are costs AIP eligible and necessary to complete projects listed in grant description? • Is AIP funding available? • If funding is available…. . • We issue a grant amendment • If funding is not available: • We add the grant to our amendment list Update on Federal Aviation Administration 2 2

Other Grant Amendments • Planning Grants – Cannot be amended • Amendments to add a NEW work item – Very limited. Cannot add funding too.
