Teaching Notes for Air Macau Case In case Implement In case Not The actual strategy of Air Macau in 2005 Continue hard block Space guarantee No profit improvement Long haul air cargo Profit Stay as improvement regional air cargo Expand freighter with presence current merit May lose current merit -24 - They kept hard block as key strategy, price even decreased as competition gets tougher The plan of long haul air cargo was suspended. Because they found it difficult to compete with international airliners, in operating sites effectively as short haul, and in handling long haul cargo at MFM within 30 minutes which is current advantage of short haul cargo.
