Unique ‘Unique’ is a very special word. If something is unique, it means that it is ‘one of a kind’. This means that it is different from everything else. Being unique is a really FABULOUS thing. It’s what makes us all different and interesting! We should celebrate everything that is unique and special about us!

Turn to the person sitting next to you and find 2 things about you that is different from them. Maybe you have different coloured hair. Maybe one of you wears glasses, or has lovely freckles! You have 1 minute to complete this unique challenge… Go! 0 30 seconds 1 minute

Wants or Needs? A ‘want’ is something that you would like to have. We all have different wants. We also have different needs. Our needs are linked to something called our ‘rights’. Lets learn a little bit about what your rights are!

What is a right? Everyone has rights, no matter where they live, or what age they are. Children also have a special set of rights just for them.

How Do We Know What Our Rights Are? There is a very special document for children. It is called the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. It is for everyone under the age of 18, and it tells us what rights children have.
