Hammurabi’s Code n Hammurabi’s Code Set of 282 laws n Dealt with every part of life n Each crime brought specific penalty. n n “Eye For An Eye” Didn’t matter what status you were n Penalties were same for everyone n Law 196: “If a man put out the eye of another man, his eye shall be put out. ” n
