ATTENDANCE Attendance is an important factor in a student’s success. The curriculum at AHS is rigorous; daily attendance is mandatory in order to meet teacher expectations. 1. Instructional assignments missed due to a student’s absence from class must be made up in a timely fashion. 2. It is the student’s responsibility to request work from the teacher on the first day back to class. 3. The student must make up all assignments as determined by the teacher. A 60% passing grade must be made on each assignment to make up the absence(s). Failure to attend school will result in denial or loss of driver’s license from the State of Florida.
