What problem trying to solve by Wi Agri Indian scenario: Most of the Indian state governments provide free electricity for agriculture water pumps/motors Subsidy examples: Chandigadh : 800 Crores Tamilnadu : 1798 Crores Karnataka : 3500 Crores Andhra pradesh : 1500 Crores Maharastra : 1600 Crores Uttar Pradesh : 2600 Crores Therefore in India, on an average either state/central government pays INR 2500 crores ( US$ 5 B) per year for agriculture pumps from tax payers money. Year on year (Yo. Y) subsidy is going up: • Agriculture pump power is being free none of the beneficiary would like to switch OFF the motor even if the water is overflowing in the farm/field. • In few cases these power supply is provided during night time, so majority of them are not making an effort to go far away pump house and switch it off. On the other hand most of these pumps have automated power/switch on mechanism as and when power comes. • Water is not provided during photosynthesis period, so it will reduce wastage of water. • There is no automated scientific method to provide self sufficient water for particular type of harvest. The current unscientific way of irrigation contributes lot of other global alarming issues viz. , Year on year (YOY) ground water level going down, upward trend on drying bore wells, and increase in the contamination of health hazardous chemicals like Fluoride, Nitrate and Chloride in water. To address all these issues and sustain our nature ecosystem for next generation we need to adapt novel, scientific and cost effective solutions. Working of the Product Based upon the crop and environment condition sensors will automatically extract and trans receive various parameters associated with the soil such as moisture, temperature, sun light etc. Based upon the parameter readings, smart agri product would automatically open the resource( water, water with manure ) gate valve during photo synthesis period till it reaches sufficient. In the meanwhile this sensor product would automatically switch on/off the pumps and stores water in tanks automatically. The built in application would send all parameters and status to the device such as mobile phone or computer. The entire product and communication works with in built in local wireless and it would also communicate to any third party network to operate from other geographical location. 8
