Cleaning Roller Gear OVERVIEW • Kyocera is using a-Si photoconductive drum in order to achieve longer file (resulted from higher wear resistance). • Oxide forms on the surface of the a-Si drum, which results in cleaning roller subjected to high torque while scrubbing the oxide films from the a-Si photoconductive drum. • The gears fabricated from Victrex PEEK materials had high mechanical strength and is able to with stand the torques without deformation.
