DETAILS After the accident, Yeng’s husband, Yan Asuncion, was immediately brought to the nearest hospital—Del Carmen. They had to transfer Yan to Dapa Siargao Hospital due to Del Carmen Hospital’s lack of x -ray machine. The x-ray machine operator was not there. The one who attended Yan tried to operate the xray machine but failed.

DETAILS He then seek assistance and called the medical people from General Luna Siargao Hospital. These people suggested to use the ultrasound machine to see if there are fractures or brain hemorrhage present. There is an emergency scanner for brain hemorrhage but it is still in the box and has no battery so they had to wait for it to start up.

DETAILS After the x-ray failed, ultrasound conducted, a certain doctor said that they have an infrascanner—a portable device used to detect internal bleeding, etc. By this time, the netizens went wild as Yeng called out the doctor when she said that the doctor does not have a sense of urgency.

AFTERMAT H Netizens from the Philippines called out Yeng Constantino for “Doctor Shaming”. Philippine Medical Association supported the doctor whom Yeng called out. Yeng issued a public apology for the Siargao locals and also to the doctor she called out and turned down the controversial vlog.
