Situation and Context in Africa producing less impact on the overall health system across board. Most healthcare organizations are largely paper-based-prone to high levels of inaccuracies and inconsistency leading to poor health system strengthening approaches and health data available for making decisions on key health priorities such as the global COVID-19 Pandemic. The COVID pandemic easily disrupted this placing enormous strain on countries around the world, exposing long-standing gaps in public health and exacerbating chronic inequities with lot of lives were lost.

Our Solution In a bid to utilize Design and Technology to better innovate around Africa’s wicked heath challenges, we developed Healthstack is a digital health platform as a service solution aimed at strengthening and creating resilient pandemic-proof healthcare system for Africa. Healthstack leverages the frameworks of telemedicine by providing low-cost, simple and intelligent digital tools to perform robust healthcare services and interactions between healthcare providers and their clients easily via digital channels. It offers a cloud-based longitudinal electronic medical records, with embedded facility-led telemedicine solutions supporting continuation of care to existing and new clientele, home-drug delivery services, mobile laboratory services as well as financial and administrative tools to provide business insights into the organization's operations
