Affirmative and Negative Words Affirmative and negative words help clarify a sentence: What do you eat for lunch? I eat nothing for lunch Who does the dishes? Everyone does the dishes. No one does the dishes.

In Spanish you can have multiple negatives Yo no como ninguna cosa nunca. I never eat any thing ever. To make a sentence negative you must put ‘No’ before the verb (there is no DON’T) Nadie and alguién are subjects, they use the él/ella form.
