English Task Your task in English today is to produce an advert for ‘Rambashi’s Jungle Grill’. This was Rambashi’s new enterprise following their failure as pirates!! One of the characters chose to advertise the Grill on Hamlet but we know that this wouldn’t be the usual way of advertising a new restaurant!
Advertisments Adverts are something that we are exposed to all the time. We see them on the TV, hear them on the radio and view them on billboards and screens. They are constantly bombarding us with messages, trying to persuade us to try their product.
Have a think! My favourite poster advert recently was the one you can see below: Why do you think that this advert appealed to me? What might I have liked about it?
Have a think! I loved this advert as it reflects my life completely! I hate Marmite but my partner and children love it so we are divided on this. The advert tapped into a news topic (Brexit) where the nation was divided in its opinion. It is simple, colourful and eye-catching with a catchy slogan!

Have a think! This advert appealed to me as Snoop Dogg is someone that I think has a great sense of humour! I like the parody of being ‘cool’ but with food! The tune is memorable; it’s a bit of an earworm! The advert does tell you what the service is that it is advertising.
