This advert uses an attractive man to show the product. This makes men believe they will be like this when they use the product encouraging them to buy it. The advert also includes two shots of the man, one which is a close up and the other is a medium wide shot. The up close shot suggest a personal aspect to the fragrance as well as showing the man up close. The wide angle shot shows a larger image of the man showing him off and making him seem stronger and bigger again encouraging users to buy this as they feel they will be seen this way. The colours are calm and bright suggesting a positive image behind the fragrance. The sea used as imagery suggest a natural aspect to the fragrance and shows fresh and cleanness. The text is minimal and white which blends into the background again making it seem natural and minimalistic.

This would make people want to buy the magazine as it would make them feel as if this reflected their lifestyle and they were similar to the person on the front cover. It also clearly shows what the magazine is about and gives the viewer/reader an idea of what to expect. The man on the cover is also wearing a suit which again suggest power, strength and wealth meaning the people reading or buying the magazine would feel like they are similar to the man. The colours on the magazine are dark and strong. This shows a level of maturity and seriousness about the magazine attracting an older and more serious viewer to the magazine. All the titles and words are in bold writing and colours that contrast the dark background this makes them stand out. The title of the magazine is the boldest part making it stand out so people know what brand of magazine it is, this helps to advertise it.

This is done to make it obvious its Lucozade and advertise it more to people. It’s also inspiring for people and inspirational making them want to buy Lucozade. The colours on the advert are bold and vibrant making it stand out so users notice it more than other products using darker colours. It also gives the advert a happier and more appealing atmosphere.
