Advantages and disadvantages PAPER BAG VERSUS PLASTIC BAG
Advantages and disadvantages PAPER BAG VERSUS PLASTIC BAG
ABOUT PAPER BAG: You also know, that paper comes from trees. But there are waste products from sawmills converting into bags, in some cases. In most cases, a tons of wood going on bags. It causes less pollution, but production of these bags destroying so much trees and forests. Paper bags are readily biodegradable, and can be recycled.
ABOUT PLASTIC BAG: Plastic comes from oil. Producing of plastic bags is cheaper, but it causes more pollution. Factories are polluting air, and also, decomposing more than 200 years. But the can be recycled too, but in most of cases, we throw them away, and we polluting nature this way. Because there is only 1 of 200 plastic bags can be recycled into a new bag or something plastic.
ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES: Paper bag: Advantages: 1. It can be recycled absolutely in any condition. 2. It does not harm nature, if we throwing it away. Disadvantages: 1. So much forests destroying, when we producing these bags.
ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES: Plastic bag: Advantages: 1. Very cheap production. 2. Mass production of providing all infrastructure. Disadvantages: 1. In the manufacturing process, it very polluting nature. 2. It very difficult to recycle. 3. It decomposes very slowly, releasing harmful substances into the soil.
CONCLUSION: Paper bag is better than plastic. Because it does not pollute nature, in 99% can be recycled into new bag (and only ~5% of plastic bags can be recycled) and also, it decomposes so fast and does not harm the soil. So, 70% of forests can be re-planted, for making paper bags of them. Paper bag wins!
