Facebook is an online social networking service. Advantages: • It allows friends and family to stay connected all over the world • Has its own messaging app installed so texting is easier • They recently installed newer and easier settings within the app itself Disadvantages: • It’s not the latest communicating app • The privacy of the users is not secure

Twitter is an online social networking service that enables users to send and read short 140 character messages called "tweets“. Advantages: • It is free to use • Easy to join and use • It is a world wide used app • Provides high security Disadvantages: • Posting limits • Follower Limitations • Spamming

Instagram is an online mobile photosharing, video-sharing, and social networking service. Advantages: • Visual marketing • Highly visible for post • Connection through emotion Disadvantages: • Only available for i. OS and Android phones • Limited features • Loss of copyright ownership • Have to download other apps to use filters

Pinterest is a social network that allows users to visually share, and discover new interests by posting ‘pins. ’ Advantages: • Focused Functionality • Share what we love • Massively Browsable Disadvantages: • Link Spam • Shopping Spam

Snapchat is a video –photo messaging application. Advantages: • Add filters • Talk to family and friends through chat setting • Photos and videos last only ten seconds • You are notified if their was a screenshot taken Disadvantages: • Limited amount of time on photos • Privacy is not guaranteed • You cannot comment or like pictures

Google Plus is a social network from Google. Advantages: • Google+ Hangouts • Google+ is linked to all Google products including Gmail and You. Tube • Allows users to come together to discuss and share content based on specific topics Disadvantages: • Lack of privacy • Still not available for everyone • Cant synchronize different services like twitter, Linked. In, or Facebook

Vine allows users to share video clips of up to six seconds. Advantages: • Available on i. OS and Android devices • Videos spread quickly to millions of people • Its free Disadvantages: • You cannot edit vines • You only have six seconds • Anyone can see your videos
