• Location: General Information • Enjoy our facilities located in the andean mountains, free of noise and air polution and other contaminants. • At 95 Kilometres (59. 37 Miles) south of Cusco city (1 hour 20 minutes by car approximately). • At 3, 350 m. a. s. l. (11, 220 f. a. s. l. ) • Our infrastructure consisting of: • Multipurpose auditorium, totally equipped with capacity for 100 persons. • Kitchen – Dinning romos, totally equipped with capacity for 85 persons. • Lodging facilities: − We count with 16 bedrooms, with private bathrooms, hot showers, in room heating. − The bedrooms are fixed according to our clients requierements (simple rooms, double rooms, matrimonials). • Other services: • Lobby • Laundry service • Garage

THE FOUR LAKES CIRCUIT TOUR • The first lake you will see is called Pomacanchis, it’s 15 minutes from the campsite, this lake is ideal for kayaking and fishing. • The second lake a few minutes further is called Acopia, a small lake with a beautiful landscape and migratory birds, excellent area for birdwatchers. • The third lake called Asnacocha (ideal for resting and with relaxing landscapes). • Finally we will arrive to the Pampamarka lake at 3750 m. a. s. l. (12375 f. a. s. l. ), beautiful area were you will be able to appreciate the local fauna and flowers, it is ideal for trout fishing or eating trout in one of the many restaurants that offer this delicious meals.

Archaeological sites - Machupitumarca • Located 30 minutes from the campsite, invites us to discover the gorgeous stone construction, starting the journey on the terraces, the Intipunku or Sun gate with the restored rooms that served as home to the ancient inhabitants. • In the lower area we can find the Yuraq Punku, which is a magnificent vigilance tower, from this place the travelers that penetrated to the Markapata jungle to sell cereals and root vegetables such as potatos for the inca were watched. • On the top of the archaeological site is the elevation that gives the name to the place, because of the remains found it is said that it was used for religious rituals, from here we can climb downhill to another graded plain towards Kimsa Rakiyniyoc or the Machupitumarka citadel where the higher class andean priests resided. • However the most significant of the archaeological site is the intihuatana or sun clock that only by touching it the visitor is filled with energy and vitality with pure air in a deep breathe that will relax you with a sense of freedom surrounded by a pleasant landscape.

Archeological site - Raqchi • The Archaeological Ensemble of Raqchi is a temple built by the Incas to worship the God Viracocha. This magnificent work of architecture in stone and clay has a rectangular floor is 92 meters long and 25 wide. What most impresses is a central wall 12 feet high with stone base and body of adobe. On both sides of the wall bases 22 cylindrical columns are appreciated. The set also has quarters for the Inca nobility. The Inca Road cut an imposing wall Kollasuyo fencing Raqchi. Also highlight the Colcas or food stores as well as an annex to Usno ceremonial water sources.

La Raya Inca hot springs • Located at 1: 30 hours from the Campsite. • The La Raya hot springs have healing powers for Reumathism and Arthritis. These are geothermal areas where the hot water, mud and gases bubble up from the floor vents. • The water characteristics are slightly yellow colored, unscented and recommended for reumathism because of the temperaturas that vary from 12°C up to 60°C. • Treatments in a sauna cabinet with medicine plants to relief the arthritis and remathism pain are available. • This is located in the limit between Cusco and Puno regions, in the Marangani district (Occobamba community), Province of Canchis.

Montaña del Pulso - Chuquicahuana • One of the mountains that surround our campsite is called «La montaña del Pulso» (Pulso’s mountain) to honor our guide; this mountain shows defiant to be explored and conquered. • The mountain Summit is located at 3600 m. a. s. l. (11, 880 f. a. s. l. ), we start from the Chuquicahuana campsite. • 2 hours of climbing on foot separates us from the Summit, where you will enjoy the beautiful landscape and the excellent clean fresh air. “Include this unique adventure in your agenda and take with you unforgetable pictures of your group and the campsite seen from the top of a mountain”

Machu Picchu tour • We recommend to transfer from the campsite to Cusco city one night before you leave to the Machu Picchu city. • The aproximate costs of hotel in Cusco are: • Single room: US$ 70. 00 • Double room: US$ 80. 00 • Matrimonials: US$ 80. 00 Note: Ask for an update of the local hotel prices as they might change without any advice. Machupicchu is 4: 30 hours from Cusco city. The longest period of the journey is made by train. There is no other means of transportation to and from Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu pueblo). • The price for this unforgettable experience is US$ 300. 00 person. Volunteering activities • The inhabitants of the andean communities of southern Perú are considered in extreme poverty. • At the Chuquicahuana campsite we motivate each participant either national or international to perform some kind of activity with a social impact being the goal. • Encourage your group to perform volunteer activities within the Chuquicahuana campsite: to work in the Green areas, green houses, medical care activities; and work in the closest communities. • Participate in the construction process of a eco-stove, that will contribute to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants under the line of extreme poverty.
