ADP E-Time Basic User Tutorial Substitute Teacher

ADP Portal: Logging In Ø Log in via the main ADP portal – In the Acelero Desktop, use the “EZ-Labor / e. Time” link from the menu – OR go directly to the ADP portal at https: //portal. adp. com/ and click “User login”
ADP Portal: Logging In Ø Your User Information will be: – Your Acelero username (usually first initial, last name) @acelero • Example: jsmith@acelero – Your password: This will be the password you set up through i. Pay • If you have NOT yet registered for i. Pay, contact your payroll administrator • If you lose or forgot your password, use the Forgot Your Password link at the bottom of the screen (see below)
ADP E-Time: Logging In Ø From the home screen in the portal, click the “Enterprise ETime Gateway – Java Version ” Link in the “Welcome” text box. Ø In order to write notes on your timecard, you need to log in via the Java link. Ø If you are just clocking in or out, you can use the HTML link (faster) Ø This will take you into the E-Time System!
ADP E-Time: Java Interface Notes Ø The Java version of the website can be a little slow to load – please give it time to load before you call for support. Ø If you have trouble loading the Java version of E-Time (if you get an error that mentions your Java version, etc. ), contact the Acelero Help Desk for support. Ø In the meantime, you can log in using the alternate HTML version in order to clock in and out – clocking in and out at the right time is important, you can fill in the notes later!
Clocking In and Out Once you log in, you should perform the following steps: 1. In the Transfers drop-down, click “Search”
Clocking In and Out: Transfer This will bring up the transfer menu. 1. Click “Facility, ” 2. Choose the center where you will be working during the day. 3. Click OK.
Clocking In and Out: Transfer Your facility code will now appear in the clock-in screen. Click Record Time Stamp to clock in. You will get a “Recorded Time” confirmation screen verifying your clock-in time, with transfer details.
Adding Notes Now you are clocked in to the correct facility, you can add a note to your punch to indicate which classroom you are working in. In the My Information tab at the top of the screen, select My Timecard.
Your Timecard Introduction • Once you are on your timecard, you will see all of your punches in the time period selected – usually this defaults to the current week or the current pay period. • Although you cannot change the times of the punches, you can comment on individual punches and timecard entries.
Your Timecard – Adding Comments 1. Make sure you’re looking at the correct time period! 2. Click the in- or out-punch that you need to comment on – usually the punch you just entered. 3. In the Timecard options bar, choose Comment, then click Add Comment

Your Timecard – Adding Comments This will trigger a comment box to pop up. 4. Select Comments in the top field 5. Write your note in the Note field 6. Click OK
Your Timecard – Save Your Comments • Once you have added the comment, a comment icon will appear right next to the relevant punch. (Example: ) • Finally, you’ll note that the My Timecard header has now turned orange, and is flagged with an asterisk. This means that there is unsaved information in the timecard. Click on Save (red button right below that header) to save your comments in the system.
Removing or Replacing Comments • If you need to remove or rewrite a comment in the system, you can do this from the Comments tab in the summary section below your timecard. Here, you will see a summary of all comments and notes you have added for the selected time period. • If you want to delete an entire comment, right-click the comment (in the Date or Comment column) and select Delete Comment. • If you want to re-write a note, right click the comment on the note column (third column), and click Delete Note. • If you need to re-write your note, right-click the Comment field again and choose Add Note. • Save your work above.
Clocking Out • To clock out, if you don’t need to enter further notes on your timecard, you can log into E-Time via either one of the links (HTML or Java) – HTML is faster! • Once you have logged in to E-Time, just click “Record Time Stamp. ” No need to transfer! • Once you get the confirmation screen, you are clocked out! • Log out at the top-right corner of the screen.
