Make sure that your students login using the “Log in with school account” and NOT the “Continue with Google” button. Although they will use their Google information going through this portal, it will connect them with the Spark Education section. The other will lead to the creation of an Adobe ID which will not connect to premium features and will deny “entry” to anybody under 13 years old.
This part is tricky and will need to be done slowly (not a gift of the average student) and intentionally. 1. Put in JUST the email address (i. e. student@usd 231. com) 1. Click the “Sign In with an Enterprise ID” blue button. This should trigger the school’s information database and allow your account to activate. 2. Clicking on other buttons or altering the sequence may lead to the creation of an Adobe ID which will be rejected by the district settings. If I taught young learners, I may even recommend logging in for your students the first time.
