5. Back Height Adjustment Lift back via integral ratchet system. Lift the whole of the back and raise to desired position. To reduce height, lift back to its highest level, and the back will return to it’s lowest position. 1. Lumber pump Squeeze bulb to increase lumber support. Push button to release. 5 2. Back Angle Adjustment To adjust back angle independently of the seat, lift lever. Push down to lock into position. 3. Seat Tilt To adjust angle of the seat, lift lever. Push down to lock into position. 6 1 2 4. Seat Height Adjustment Pull lever upwards to increase height. To reduce height, pull lever whilst sitting on the chair. 7 3 4 6. Height Adjustable Arms Lift trigger on outside of arm to raise arm height. 7. Seat Slide Pull lever upwards to allow seat slide movement. Push down to lock position.


Seat and posture • Set the back of the chair so that the lower back is supported by the back rest. If the chair has inflatable lumbar support, deflate then re-inflate until the user can just feel it, any more inflation can put extra strain on the lower back. (back height adjustment, lumber pump) • Adjust the seat tilt and height until the angle of thigh is slightly higher at the hip (10 degrees) (seat tilt adjustment, seat height adjustment) • Adjust the chair to an upright position (back angle adjustment) • Ensure there is sufficient space between the seat front and the back of the user’s knees (seat slide adjustment) • Check whether armrests impede the user from reaching the workstation. Elbows should be able to rest at a 90 degree angle (height adjustable arms) • Ensure feet can be placed flat on the floor or on a suitable foot
