Cláusula de adjetivo: Es una cláusula que modifica el sustantivo. Ejemplos : Ø Una obra que es maravillosa. Ø Una persona que es envuelta en escuela. Ø Un maestro que es sabio. Ø Una clase que es fabulosa.
Hay 2 tipos de cláusulas de adjetivo: INDICATIVO SUBJUNTIVO Los que existen, parte de realidad, son definidos El/la/los las (antes del sustantivo) Hay… Tener… Los que no existen, no son parte de realidad y son indefinidos Un/una/unos/unas (antes del sustantivo) No hay… No tener…
Práctica… 1. I’m looking for a job that pays well. Busco un trabajo que pague bien. 2. She wants a boyfriend that is faithful. Ella quiere un novio que/quien sea fiel. 3. She has a brother that is talented. Ella tiene un hermano que/quien es talentoso. 4. There a lot of people who are friendly. Hay muchas personas que/quienes son amistosas. 5. There isn’t anyone here who is ungrateful. No hay nadie aquí que/quien sea ingrato.

Hay que usar subjuntivo: üA fin de que/para que … so that Ella trabaja para que pueda ir de vacaciones. üA menos (de) que… unless Voy al partido a menos de que llueva. üAntes de que…before Ven a mi salón antes de que tomes la prueba. üCon tal de que…as long as Aprenderás mucho con tal de que uses la información. üEn caso de que… in case Traigo el paraguas en caso de que empiece a llover. üSin que … without Ella regresa sin que sepa la maestra
Práctica… 1. They work so that they can save for college. Trabajan para que puedan ahorrar dinero para la universidad. 2. We’ll play as long as it doesn’t rain. Jugaremos con tal de que no llueva. 3. Come to my house before we go out. Ven a mi casa antes de que salgamos. 4. Do it ( la tarea) in case she collects it. Hazla en case de que la recoja.
subjuntivo o indicativo Con referencia a tiempo: Cuando - when Después de que- after Hasta que- until Tan pronto como- as soon as En cuanto – as soon as Estas oraciones adverbiales requieren el subjuntivo cuando la oración principal refiere al futuro o es un mandato. . .
