WHY Pentingsari ? This village has natural strengths which attract tourists while still preserving its agricultural life. The successfull concept of environmental preservation of the village is proven through : -An award as the winner of national-level tourist village competition in "A Unique Environmental and Cultural Preservation" category in 2009, -An award from United Nations in the "Nature and Culture" category in 2011.

RESULT • Development planning to became homestay facilities does not change the original building

RESULT • Development planning to became homestay facilities does not change the original building houses. – conservation of old buildings • Facilities which developed into a homestay facility (bed rooms, a common room and bathroom) using the room in a renovated old building to achieve the standards of hygiene and comfort for guests.
