Introduction • The COVID-19 pandemic has temporarily closed educational institutions and training providers across all sectors. • Many teachers, trainers and managers have been forced to adapt their planning, delivery and assessment methods to provide effective online and distance-based services for their learners. • The purpose of this interactive webinar is to share your recent experiences of how the COVID-19 closures have affected your teaching and identify how you as a teacher have transitioned from the classroom to online. • The Teaching and Learning Cycle will be applied to this webinar, we encourage you to share best practice on what teaching methods have worked well and highlight areas for consideration when delivering teaching remotely.
The Teaching Cycle ‘The teaching and learning cycle is a systematic process which ensures your learners have a positive experience and are able to achieve their goals’ (Gravells, 2014) Activity! 1. We will investigate each stage of the cycle how you have changed your planning and delivery during lockdown 2.
