ADAMSON INTERNATIONAL ACHIEVERS’ AWARD On the occasion of its 80 th foundation and first global reunion, Adamson University celebrates and formally recognizes the outstanding achievements and contributions of members of the Alumni community based outside the Philippines in their field of specialization and areas of endeavor.

Message from the President 2012 is another significant milestone in the history of our beloved Alma Mater – Adamson University. We are 80 years old this year. From its humble beginnings in 1932, Adamson University has grown into one of the top ten universities in the Philippines. Thisrecognition isduetotheachievementsofitsgraduates both - inthe. Philippines and abroad. The Adamson International Achievers’ Award is given to an alumni who have made exceptional contribution to their chosen field of endeavor abroad. These are Filipinos living and working abroad or international students who have graduated from the University. For those who are younger but already making an impact in society, we have the Emerging Alumni Achiever Award. I encourage you to nominate alumni whom you think deserve this award. Award Categories International Alumni Achiever Award This award recognizes the recipient’s exceptional contribution to his chosen field of endeavor Emerging Alumni Achiever Award This award recognizes the Alumni aged 40 or younger who have significant achievements early in life

Who can be nominated ? üThe Awards are open to all Alumni based outside the Philippines and who meet at least two of the criteria for that award. The following are also eligible for nomination üDiamond Jubilee awardees working and residing outside the Philippines. üPast Outstanding AUAAI awardees working and residing outside the Philippines. üInternational (non-Filipino) graduates working and residing outside the Philippines.

Who can make a nomination? üAny member of Adamson University community including Alumni, concerned College or Department may nominate an individual/s for an Adamson University International Alumni Achiever Award and Emerging Alumni Achiever Award. üIndividuals may also nominate themselves for an award.

How and when are nominations deliberated? üThe Award Selection Committee is made up of members from the University and the Alumni Community. üThe Selection Committee’s recommendations will be forwarded to the University President for consideration and endorsement. üThe committee will consider nominations based on the criteria outlined for each award.

Conditions of nomination üNominees must approve their nomination. üNominations must be received by 5 pm on the closing date, Tuesday 28 February 2012. üNominations forms must be complete and include contact details for two professional recommending persons.

üThe nominations will be deliberated on Monday, 5 March 2012. üAll decisions made by the Award Selection Committee and endorsed by the President are final. üSubmitting this nomination does not automatically mean that the nominee will be selected for an award.

How are recipients advised of their award? üRecipients and nominators are advised in writing thru email of the offer of the Award presentation üThe Awards will be presented at the Formal Dinner Dance on 7 July 2012 on the occasion of the First Global Reunion.

Emerging Achiever Award The Emerging Alumni Achiever Award is presented to a graduate of Adamson University aged 40 years or younger.

Selection Criteria: Demonstrates significant early career or community service achievements. Has displayed innovative practices in their field. Demonstrates integrity and high ethical standards. Manifests interest and connection to their Alma Mater.
