Price § Explain how the product will be sold § Will it be sold whole sale or retail § Tell me how many different sizes and prices of each of your products Ex. 0. 5 gram package, 2 gram package, 9. 5 gram package Or small, medium, large
Place § What specific stores are you going to sell your product from? § Include at least 3 -4 stores Ex. Hy. Vee, Super Target, the Buckle, Cabelas, Fleet Farm, John Deere § Include where you will sell your product Ex. Iowa, United States, the world § What time of the year will your product be sold?
Promotion § How will you market your product? § Take product to a food festival, farm show, outdoors event, etc. § Social media? § Others?

Year One § Promote product person to person, ex. taste testing, cooking contest, point of interest display § This year should have the most promotion so that people are aware that your product exists § Include events in which you can attend to promote your product
Year One cont. § Discuss what groups you are going to have to be associated with in year 1: § Ex. Newspapers, social media, public relations people, event people § Start promoting on social media, in magazines, advertisements in the paper, etc.
Year Two § Continue to promote product via social media, direct mail campaigns § Possibly start selling products with logos on them to get your product promoted § Take out the main event that began year 1 § Maintain customers and make sure product remains popular
Year Three § Possibly expand the business if there is room in the market and begin promoting more heavily § OR maintain customer service & satisfaction in current area, build sales there, and continue social media, mailers, etc. § Expansion § Where (Iowa to Midwest, Midwest to the United States, United States to the world, etc. ) § What stores- start to sell and promote your product in other stores
