• College Entrance Exam (evaluates student’s college readiness) • The ACT determines admission requirements at colleges • The ACT tests Math, Reading, and Science knowledge What is the ACT?

• ACT does not deduct any points for incorrect answers. (There is no penalty for guessing. ) • The student’s Composite score and each test score (English, Mathematics, Reading, Science) range from 1 (low) to 36 (high). The Composite Score is the average of your four test scores, rounded to the nearest whole number. How is the ACT scored?
