Electrical licensing • Intended so that only people who are trained and capable of

Electrical licensing • Intended so that only people who are trained and capable of doing the work are authorised to do so. • Metering is licensable electrical wiring work covered within the scope of electrical licensing but not necessarily covered by existing electrician training. • Scope doesn’t extend beyond network boundary, make other work contestable, or authorise network access. • Options – – Automatic authorisation Separate licence Endorsement on unrestricted electrician licence Alternative scheme
