Now your turn! • In your Creative Writing notebook, write down your name • Your job is to create an acrostic poem using your name to create an introduction page to your poetry collection that we are going to be working on over the next few weeks. Your poem should be about both you and your writing. Use phrases and sentences instead of single words. Check your spelling and keep editing until you are pleased with your final rendition. When you are all set, grab a sheet of computer paper and write out a “final copy” of your poem to hand in.
