Welcome We are pleased to announce that Ackworth TTC will be opening the doors from Monday 27 th July. We have followed guidance from TTE, Sport England the venues that we use in order to stay as safe as reasonably possible while being able to offer coaching to your children. We hope you find the information in the presentation informative and it covers everything that you need. Please feel free to get in contact and ask any questions.

All players with a new cough, high temperature or loss of smell/taste (or other indicators as on the NHS we site) should not play for at least 14 days after the symptoms appeared. All players will have their temperature taken before they enter the building - any player with a temperature above 37. 5 will he asked to leave. It’s important that parents remain on site until this happens. On Arrival Coaches and Players are welcome to wear a face mask if they wish, however this is not mandatory. All players must play with the same player during a session. For a two hour session we will have a short break on the hour, and clean down the tables, to allow us to swap players around – this will be a 10 minute break from playing. All players must socially distance - we have adopted the 2 m rule as we believe that we have space to do this and it’s the safest approach. No handshaking, sharing equipment, drinks, food or anything else (phones). During Session Follow TTE guidance on rules in the hall – e. g. no wiping hands on tables, no touching barriers, etc - these to be displayed in the hall. All players must use the provided hand gel before and after going to the toilet. Towels and water to be kept in the players bags. Coaches and Players are welcome to wear a face mask if they wish, however this is not mandatory. Parents will not be able to wait inside the building. They are welcome to wait outside or in their cars.

All players will be allocated a group that broadly matches their ability. This is to coincide with ‘bubbles’ as guidance from TTE. The four player groups will be called Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced and Elite. We will run one session for beginners (choice of two sessions) and two sessions for each of the other groups per week. We will no longer be taking cash payments. We will no longer offering ‘drop in’ sessions - all players need to sign up to a programme in advance. We require all players to sign up to a plan; and commit to playing in each of the sessions. If you cannot attend a session please let us know in advance so we can manage the session. Logistics All plans will be paid monthly in advance by payment/credit card or direct debit; We have priced the plans to cover our costs - please keep in mind that we can only get half the number of tables out in the Squash Club Badminton Hall however the hall cost remains the same. We have extra costs for PPE, cleaning, etc too. If you attend all the sessions in your plan we still feel that it represents good value. If you only attend one session per week ( Elite, Advanced and Intermediate) then this will be more expensive than previously. All parents and guardians of players under 18 will be asked to sign an agreement to confirm that they understand accept the risks. If a player has previously been shielded then we do not recommend playing over the summer. However we will leave this decision to the parent or guardian. We appreciate that this model won’t work for everyone and all we can say is keep in touch and we’ll get you playing again when the situation with Coronavirus changes.

These are groups that players are suggested that they sign up to. If any players do not sign up then players may be invited to attend the group above. Preference on this will be the ones who commit and attend all of their group sessions and the attitude they have. Players could sign up and not attend all sessions but they would still pay for them but ideally we would want players to commit to coming as it will affect bubble sizes and partners.
