Background • Created in 1994 by L. A. Metro to provide ADA Complementary Paratransit Services • Designated as CTSA for Los Angeles County • Meets ADA obligation for 45 member agencies – incl. Metro, LADOT, Foothill Transit • Services for persons who cannot use fixed-route independently
The Future of CTSA ˃ Offer educational classes and workshops to enhance the development for all professionals ˃ Implement collaborative events to expand networking between transit and social service professionals ˃ Establish partnerships and foster relationships with a host of social service and health and human service providers throughout Los Angeles County ˃ Establish a working group with state wide CTSA agencies
