Academics / Credits § The AYF Consortium is composed of UW-Madison, Michigan State University, University of Iowa and University of Michigan § Credit earned in Freiburg count as classes taken at Michigan § AYF students generally earn 27 credits or more during their year in Freiburg – Most AYF students return to the United States with greatly improved German proficiency – Most AYF students are double majors, earning many German credits while abroad – Students may take courses outside of the German department to earn credit towards additional majors
