Student Self Service • Student Self Service will go live to students during the 2020 spring semester. – It will eventually replace Web. Advisor. – Students will be able to access their academic information and register for classes from anywhere. – As instructors, you will have access to student academic information anywhere.

RISE • RISE: Reinforced Instruction for Student Excellence – Students will be placed based

RISE • RISE: Reinforced Instruction for Student Excellence – Students will be placed based primarily on their HS GPA (within 10 yrs. of registration). – It will replace DMA & DRE courses. These courses will not be offered after Summer 2020. – DMAs replaced by MAT 003. – DREs replaced by ENG 002.

 • The UNC Board of Governors defines exceeding credit hour limits as: –

• The UNC Board of Governors defines exceeding credit hour limits as: – More than 140 degree credit hours to complete a baccalaureate degree in a four-year program or – More than 110 percent of the credit hours necessary to complete a baccalaureate degree in any program officially designated by the Board of Governors as a five-year program. • This a good thing for our transfer students.
