What is print@UCL UCL’s centrally managed secure print service Operational for over 3 years Providing multi-function device capabilities (A 4/A 3, single/double sided, mono/colour, scanning, copying) Currently consisting of over 600 print devices, generating >42 M print impressions annually, across nearly 70% of UCL departments
What is Print@UCL The aim of print@UCL is to: • Deliver a service that is easy for students and staff to access • Achieve wide adoption of the service to reduce UCL’s print costs • Deliver a robust service which minimises printer downtime • Contribute to a greener, more eco-friendly environment

Transition to Print@UCL What to expect … • New devices will be delivered to your area just prior or on the installation day • There may be some periods of disruption on the day of installation while the new devices are being installed • All installed printers will be tested to ensure they are fully operational • Following successful installation of print@UCL devices, old printers will be collected by the recycling company if required
Next Steps • You will receive an email notification advising you of the installation date for printers in your department • This email will also contain instructions for using print@UCL for the first time
