About Open Source Software movement The Free / Open Source Software (FOSS) movement stands for full freedom for the production, distribution, modification and use of software as per the needs and wishes of the user. Only a free environment with open standards can lead to a large scale collaborative development of software, unleashing creativity and productivity, ultimately leading to lower costs and higher quality of the software.
About the forum Looking at the current scenario, we can easily see that the FOSS movement has already gained a huge momentum and is expected to grow at a greater pace in the future as well. Undoubtedly, it can be said that FOSS is the future of software development. With this emerging trend in the field of software development, we would also like to contribute to this noble cause. We would like to join the race of the open source and benefit from the community as well as contribute to the community.
