Leading and Coaching a High Functioning RAS Unit • Empower staff • Giving constructive feedback • Provide necessary resources • Listen to concerns • Delegate to and leverage staff strengths • Reviewing and approving grants • Creating usable templates for communication to other RAS members and Faculty • Provide Career Development opportunities • Online courses and resources • Emory resources- Emory Mentor program and other leadership programs • Encouraging staff to become subject experts and learning opportunities for ABOSS RAS. • Create Team goals and expectations • Monthly Pre-Award meetings
