Transportation Successes • Contract award for the route 40 & 715 intersection upgrades • Army certification of APG’s Defense Access Roads (DAR) request • Establishment of the “Transportation Interagency Working Group” among MDOT, APG, Harford County, City of Aberdeen, and CSSC • Memorandum Of Understanding signed Oct 10 “ To implement Transportation Demand Management Practices in Support of Aberdeen Proving Ground regional growth, including the Base Realignment and Closure Actions of 2005” • Prepared Transportation Management Plan to: Ø Promote use of alternatives to single occupancy vehicle (SOV) travel Ø Create APG TDM Communication Program Ø Create incentive programs to encourage non-SOV travel Ø Promote work patterns to reduce peak demand
