Animal Adaptations The forest has many trees, a good adaptation for animals would be in a tree that allows the animal to be able to climb and a forage of food in the trees for the animals to have a good adaptation. Here are some animals with adaptations, squirrels need trees, snakes need grass/dirt, birds need branches. Those are some adaptations for some animals.
Bacteria/Fungi You probably think that the forest soils are very rich and is able to support a lot of plants and tree species, because of the majorities, but the forest is very poor and is unsuitable for normal agriculture. How do you think the plants and tree get there nutrients? The top layer of soil is rich and has nutrients from rotting organic materials. Did you know that all the tree species in the rain forest.
Carbon Dioxide is an element that is life on Earth. The carbon dioxide circle is between all of the Earth’s atmosphere, oceans, rivers, rocks, and sediments. Processes of organisms and respiration are the basics of the carbon dioxide circle. In organisms, plant get there energy from the sun and carbon dioxide and gas from the Earth’s atmosphere to create oxygen.
In the forest, there all kinds. Deadly of dangerous animals. For instance- bears, foxes, some deer, hawks, snakes, spiders, monkeys, and snapping turtle’s. So the next time you go hunting in a forest, you better be prepared for these animals and things. Animals
Endangered Animals There are many endangered animals in the forest. Do you know why? Because us people, we cut down tree’s and ruined their homes. People also use animals for- food, cloths, accessories and a lot more. So the next time your parents go to the forest and cut down trees, tell them to think about the animals they kill.
Fascinating Facts Did you know that it rains more than 30 to 40 inches in the Temperate Forest. It also has a lot of animals. The temperature is usually around 22 F and 29 F.
Green House Effect Carbon dioxide trap’s the sun’s heat. This makes the earth warm up. If the Earth heat’s up too much it will change the weather. Much of the world’s carbon dioxide comes from car’s and factories. Trees and plants take it and turn it to oxygen.
Human Effect Did you know that 95% percent of forests threat come from human. Almost all our medicines are from the rainforest. The human population is rapidly growing almost a million a year! Which means the demand for water is going up.
Insects in the forest Here are some insects in the Forest, Blue eyed dragonfly, moth, plant hopper, tree hopper, leaf hopper, mole rat. These are few of many hundred insects in the forest there are too many species to count.
Journeys through the Forest When you take a journey through the rainforest you better be ready for a wild adventure, Believe it or not there are some crazy animals in the forest. There also some cool things you can learn about the rainforest. But most important thing is to be careful and watch out for interesting creatures.
Kinds of Birds In the forest there all kinds of birds for instance- Becard, Chickadees, crossbills, Flycatchers, Jays, Kiskadee, Nutcracker, Pauraque, Poorwill, Tanagers, Tyrannulet Vireos Waxwings, Wood-Pewees, Senegal Kingfisher, and lots more!!!
Land for Farming Farmers use chemical fertilizers to grow plants quickly they will go unto ponds, lakes, rivers and the ocean and the pollute the water. The same water that humans and animals need to survive.
Mother Nature is a very common personification of Nature that focuses on the life giving aspects of nature by it in the form of the Mother Nature supports the forest like a lot, mother nature is basically mother earth.
Night Animals There is a lot of night animals like the, Common Nighthawk, the common night hawk is a cryptic bird most often seen in flight. Yellow-bellied Sapsucker Although most non-birders believe that the Yellow- Bellied Sapsucker is a bird created just for the interesting name. Hawk Owl A bird that lives in the Boral Forest, Commonly known as the Northern Hawk Owl. It is very distinctive among owls for it’s behavior.
Oxygen Forest are considered as the lungs of the planet. All plants take in carbon dioxide and release oxygen. The more trees we cut down the less oxygen we get and the more Co 2 is created.
Pollution Every time we launch a shuttle it creates 53 cubic tons of co 2. That’s 10 years of you breathing. The oil spill in Mexico comes from one of our tankers. The oil traveled all the way to New York City. That over 500 miles, and only 3 out of 5 oil rooms were punctured. Each room held 500 pounds of oil.
Quick and Easy Facts Did you know that the temperate forest is a biome that is constantly changing? Well we didn’t. It also has four distinct seasons, winter, spring, summer, and fall, but they are the same as ours except sometimes we have a warm winter and a cold summer. But they have a cold winter and a warm summer.
Rain effects in the forest Rain effects the forest because it could easily flood the plants. But sometimes it can only flood small plants depending on the kind of plant it is. The forest get 20% of rain that drains from the sky.
Species There are many species in the forest, for example, Owls, Bats, Birds, Snakes, Bugs, and humans. How many species of animals do you think there are? Well lets just say there are millions of specie in the forest!!!!
Trying to save the forest Do you know how to save the forest? Well a good way to save the forest is to recycle. Put your plastic cans in a recyclable trash can. You can also stop cutting down trees, most animals live in trees like Birds, Monkeys, Squirrels and tons of other Animals!
Unique Things Some unique things are trees, the grass, vines, dirt, ground, underground. Animals need these things to be a living animal. The unique thing about these things are because they help animals live and breathe.

Weather The weather in the temperate forest is sometimes very cold and very warm. Some animals adapt better to colder weather because of their skin or fur they have.
X-Treme dangers The most dangerous things in the forest are, small creatures. Small creatures can cause as much problems as big ones can. Other animals can also make a lot of problems just like humans can.
Y do you hurt the animals Why do you eat animals, why do you kill the animals, The animals are living things just like us think about it, if you were an animal you wouldn’t want to be killed!
Zoom around the forest Hear are some facts about the forest. When ever your in the forest watch out for lots of things there are many dangerous things in the forest. For example, bears, snakes, foxes, poison ivy, and lots of other interesting things!
