Title Introduction Task Process Evaluation Conclusion Teacher’s Page In the sea, thousands of animals live. Unfortunately, some whales have gone missing, not only are their families affected, but the ecosystem as well. Your job is to help Sheriff Willy find the whales and bring them back home and keep them from becoming extinct, or loss forever. In your group you will help provide a profile, an interview to alert the media, and an article for the newspaper. To help you, follow the webquest and the links provided for you.
Task These were some of the whales that are missing. Your job is to find out as much information about them to help Sheriff Willy find them and bring them back home. As a group you will help find out as much information about their disappearance, and what you can be changed so that disappear forever. Remember your scientific skills will come in handy. Gather your information in your museumbox.
Process This webquest will take you around the world. As a group, you will research the web and collect information. In your journal write 10 things that will identify, help locate, and give the Sheriff an idea about their lives are like. Assign one person to search for the information of one of the whales online. Once this is accomplished you will be developing an article for the newspaper and media as a group to present to the Sheriff.
Conclusion Hooray!!! Some of the whales have been returning home. Thank you for helping Sheriff Willie. With your newly acquired investigative techniques you can surely find the other whales, or different solutions to help the environment and whales all over the world.
