Software • Computer software, or simply software, also known as computer programs, is the nontangible component of computers. Computer software includes all computer programs regardless of their architecture.

History 1935 - by Ada Lovelace for analytical Engine. 1946 - by Claude Shannon outlined binary logical program for computer. 1969 - Began commercial software. 1970 - Unix was launched. 1980 - Software industry grown…

Software Types • Application Software • System Software • Malicious Software Driver, Shell, Utilities, Addins, Plugins, Boot Loader etc.

Search Engine • Google • Bingo • Yahoo Search Pattern. Searching Techniques. Search Objects.

Software Engineering • Engineering Software is the study and application of engineering to the design, development, and maintenance of software. • Planning & Requirement Analysis • Design & Coding • Testing & Maintenance.

Programming Tools • Programming tools are software in the form of programs or applications that software developers use to create, debug, maintain. • Software may written in one or more programming languages using compilers, debuggers, interpreters, linkers, and text editors etc.

Software Industry & Org. • Software can be quite a profitable industry: Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft, Larry Ellison, largely through his Oracle database software and so on. • Software standard organizations like the W 3 C, IETF develop software standards so that most software can interoperate through standards such as XML, HTTP or FTP.

ICT Software Integration of telecommunications (telephone lines and wireless signals), computers as well as necessary enterprise software, middleware, storage, and audiovisual systems, which enable users to access, store, transmit, and manipulate information. Whats. App, Face. Book, Orkut, Skype, etc.

Software Education • Knowledge of computer programming is a pre-requisite to becoming a software engineer. Many software engineers enter the profession by obtaining a university degree or training at a vocational school. • B. E. (IT), B. Sc(SE), M. Sc. (SE), APTECH, NIIT, C-DAC etc.

Software in Intelligence • • Artificial Neural Network Artificial Intelligence Business Intelligence Complexity Analysis Biometric Identification Pattern Recognition Human Computer Interaction
